My rank is 18-20 in 1v1 but definitely not as good fighting in the 4th and 5th age. When I play team games with friends who are closer to the 10s I always hit age 3 with the most resources and have the biggest army but not a big enough army to 1v3 or 1v2 attacking some times I am able to defend against those numbers but then normally I am the last to 4. What should I do from this position? What should I have my friends do they play France, Russia and British I play most civs.
