Anyone still remember the old Courier?

Before African Kingdom expansion, Incas unique tech "Courier" was supposed to be a 10% movement speed boost to Eagles, slingers and kamayuks. They changed that into what we have now, because there were no pro gameplay and everyone thought Incas were weak and they try to buff them. Nowadays we all know how good Incas is right up to early imperial age, and they even nerf kamayuks and Courier in the ECL by increasing their cost. Combining the nerf on tower which is one of their main strategy, it shows that Incas is surprising good even in late game.

In my opinion, the old tech on speed not only makes more sense historically, but also makes the gameplay of Incas late game more interesting and, most importantly, fits in their theme of countering better. They are not meant to be overwhelming the opponents with raw power, but to play the right counter units against the opponent. A high mobility can help Incas player to choose their fight better and use their army on the right situation, instead of brainlessly charge your army with your high pierce armour.

Anyway, i think it will remain as a past and I don't see any reason for the developers to revert it back to the original.
