What makes a pro player?

You need minimum levels of the following: hotkeys; counters; unit compositions; tech knowledge; tech timing; micro & macro management of both eco and military - so that is 4; Actions per minute; map knowledge; score analysis; civs; win conditions; mods (like grid & small trees); water vs land; team play; and outside knowledge (wifi speed; dpi for mouse, ergonomics and your external life, fatigue).

In my opinion there some factors which stand out. For one player called “theviper“ it seems to be apm. He might not be the fastest, but he has a pro level of actions-per-minute. I also notice that he sometimes lose when he lowers it because he thinks he is going to lose. Not remaking eco and resigning in a game at 3 5ths in when he could have won if he had consistenly high apm.

Theviper (and his team) often bash Daut for having a low apm. Yet he is still on the team. I haven’t watched daut stream as I strongly dislike his dialect.

So: how do you make the RIGHT descicions? I could tell you to read The art of war; the checklist manifesto, and similar books. But honestly I think daut has somethi To win you generally have to have any kind of the rught coctail of:

A: Doing more damage to your opponent than he does to you. This also means distracting the opponent nd destroying attention heavy actions. Such as raiding.

B:Having more units, buildings than opponent, and having or spending more ressources than opponent.
