I just played a game that I hate to admit, but I quit before it was done. I knew I would lose considering the AI was attacking me with a horde of archers and skirmishers and I had just gotten my first barracks up. I looked at the timeline and the economy stats and in half an hour the AI was somehow able to harvest more of every resource than me and build an army faster and advance to the Feudal Age faster. I was doing all the tricks wikihow mentioned like keeping your sheep away so only one is killed at a time and I really wasn't very far behind the AI in getting to the Feudal Age. Also luring board and everything. What do you guys do?
I did find out that the HD AI is very difficult for everyone. Apparently some of you guys are having trouble on easiest and I was trying it on hard because I thought I was a veteran of the RTS genre.
