My Personal Opinion to Balancing Some civ

first, if you see some weird, bad english, my apologies because english is not my first language.

I actually played this game just 6 month, and even my short terms of multiplayer experience i can see balace issue.

I think most problemetic civ in currents are -

civ that needs buff - Vietnamese, Goths

civ that needs nerf - Bulgarian, Lithuanian, and most of all, CUMANS

civ that needs a little adjust - Saracen, maybe?

and now, i'll just say my personal opinion for these civs.

Vietnamese - I think viet's problem is they dont have real bonus to archer w none-eco bonusese.

so my Opinions are, give them free blacksmith archer attack upgrade.

that will make their archer rush more fast and strong, and maybe they can be a top-archer civ.

20% hp for archers, not impressive, but 20% hp + faster upgrade for ther archer, i think it makes huge difference.

Goth - their problem is always two things - weak early eco, and very fragile defense.

and comes to DE, they introduces supplies, so Goths cheaper infantry bonus lose its shine a little bit.

i think still their cheaper infantry bonuses still stronger than normal civs with supplies, and late game goths are still extremely strong. they just need a little eco boost- but if they get too much, they will be broken.

my Opinions is : give them cheaper barracks, like 175 woods -> 125 woods

it helps early eco much on woods, but in feudal-castle age, it only boosts goths army when they produces some spearman in most of cases. maybe their castle-age huskarl spams are become op. but 650 stones are big though.

Bulgarian : they have lots of good thing, but i dont think free swordman_line upgrades are overpowered, because they have spanish-level of archer rush, so maa-archer are not they consideration.

their OP things are - the Konnik, that cheaper than knight, but somehow stronger in almost every single way.

(yes, krepost is also Op-ish building, but i dont have good opinion. sorry for that.)

i think they needs to adjust Konnik's price & nerf "Dismounted Konnik"s stat, not mounted Konnik.

actually, normal Konnik's problem is only because their cheaper than knight, and because of krepost, their easy to produce. but when you see just Konnik's normal stat, their stats arent that extreme. if theyre expensive than before, youll see without dismounted Konnik, they're just knight with more melee power, but lack 1 range armor.

dismounted Konniks are too strong for free Unit. 45/50 hp with 12/13 attacks. and they also get infantry armor. it makes them too good against spears and camels.

My Opinion is : Konnik's gold price will be 85 gold( almost like mameluke), and -10 hp to Dismounted Konnik(elite, non elite both), and Dismounted Konnik never get defense armor upgrade.

i think this will negate all of konniks problem, not that cheap compared to knight, not that strong against spear/camel

Lithuanian : 150 foods with start of the game, (say hello to Incan/persian bonuses)

their problem is - they drush too-fast(i'll just call it extreme drush), so opponents(excepts mayan/chinese) needs to get loom faster, whcih make early build order a little bit massed up.

opinion : they need to lose woods like chinese or mongol. i think start with -50 ~ 60 woods are works for this.

lose 50 woods means -> they cant get barrack immediately & if they wants to do extreme drush, they have to chop woods - which can delay their early food income. its still do-able, but not that easy.

Cuman : they have too much problem, cobra-car speed cavalry, double TC in feudal, *rekin-lancer, etc...

i have no idea how devs compared to Op-ness to vietnamese to THIS STUPID BONUSES. yes vietnamese town center location bonuses are OP in paper, but in reality its only shows TC location without anything.

i think dev's are thinking OK, give bonuses make cuman strong in feudal age, and SOMEHOW this will not make cuman not enough strong in castle-imperial age, so Lets just give paladin(which is never needed because of steppe lancer), faster creation to light cav, etc...

well, to be honest, steppe lancer and kipchaks are 130% sure they're gonna get nerfed, so i'm not gonna say about that(if they dont, im just quit multiplayer, i dont wanna deal with those stupid op ones...)

My Opinion is : they do have just one option - only TC or only Siege workshop. & they need to lack some cavalry upgrade if they wants to keep this super speed cavalry

i personal wish is - cuman dont get bloodline, so their cavs are faster, but not having tankiness like other civs.

if its too weaken them, lose plate barding armor OR just dont get husbandary so they never outspeed other cavalry.

oh, and also, why they need camels and paladin. thats too much. yes they dont get heavy camel, but are they really needs option for countering other civs cavalry? i dont thinks so.

and last

Saracen : im not gonna say they're op, but that bonuses in feudal is a little bit strong, and not enough for late game.

i hope bonuses starts 2 in feudal, and +1 when ages up.

this make a little bit weaker in feudal, same as castle age, and comparable to obsidian arrow in imperial.

maybe it hurts mayans obsidian arrow, but as we all know, without that tech, mayans are still really god civ.

i also hope that saracen market bonuses gives a little bit more in early stage. 5% fee is extremely good bonuses, but i dont think its comparable with other civs that have Eco bonuses w crop rotation. but its my personal opinion.

also, plz make mameluke a little bit better, i know theyre good unit and hard go adjust, but theyre become too weak, and saracen almost never uses mameluke in normal competitive gameplay.
