Future of the expansions for this game

I'm not among those excited about a US civ, but I think here are a few things that we need to have on mind:

1. Designing a new civ in AOE3 is much more difficult and require much more work than any other AOE game.
2. We're only six months since the release of DE.

I suspect we might not expect any addition of high quality at the moment. Even for AOE2 DE, where you only need to design one or two unique units and two techs for each civ, it took the dev teams a year to release a DLC with two civs.

So the reason they're adding US is probably because they have most of the assets ready, and it's easy and quick work. I'll be most hyped if they announce Africans or Italians, though, but we're not probably having them this early.

If the devs can give us a hint of future plans I'd be happy with that. Maybe we'll have the African dlc another six months later (I mean, why not? They even have music for them).
