When do i should lure deer?

Seeing the game of pro players, i've noticed a thing:

- The Viper and Tatoh never lure the deer in the Dark Age, even if they've found every sheep and boars;

- Hera sometimes lure the deers;

- Mbl always lure the deers;

- Daut also sometimes lure the deers;

So, like i'm a pleb, when should i lure the deers?
