Age of Empires 2 collective nouns

So in the animal kingdom you can describe a group of a particular species with a collective noun. Eg: a murder of crows, an army of ants. I thought it might be fun to come up with some amusing collective nouns for various aoe2 units.

Here are some I came up with.

  • a mastapiece of towers

  • a train of rams

  • a flood of huskarls

How to download aoe3 on a Mac?

So I love the aoe series and the total war stuff and decided to start getting back in to it recently when I bought a pc.

Unfortunately my brother (who lives separately to me) has a Mac (don’t have a clue why). He decided to download steam last night, then pay £30 for the game for it not to work.

Does anyone have any idea how to get the game to work from the stage he is at? I’m not great with computers but can hold my own, so if anyone has a dummy’s guide to help that’d be much appreciated!

can't get back to main voobly account after making a spare account?

i made a secondary voobly account and signed in to the client with it. now, when i sign out and sign back into my original account, i am nonetheless still playing with the secondary. i can't get back to the original account. When I open Medieval Siege, I am still in my secondary account, even though in the Friends list window I am signed in as my original account. It's so weird. What's wrong?

Once you've found a bare minimum of sheep and boar, you send your scout to find the enemy base. As early as 11 villagers, you send around 4 villagers to your opponent while you research loom. You try to use the advantage of surprise to wall in some villagers if you can, or at least force your opponent to demolish a building to escape like MbL did. Then you use the 30 seconds you have before your opponent gets Loom to consolidate your control of their berries, with houses or palisade walls, so you can harvest them yourself.

This may force your opponent to make an extra four farms, but also saves you from having to make farms. Can follow with a dark-age militia rush, especially if you're worried about getting towered at the berries.
