How to make a Petard Civ viable

I really wish there was a petard civ just to mess around and have fun with the game sometimes. It seems like they are the most underused unit considering their cost effectiveness and also being a one time use only unit.

Heres some ideas I came up with.

Civ Bonuses:

Petards have 2x HP and double blast radius

Petards can garrison in rams and siege towers

Petards cost -15%, -20% in castle/imperial age

Unique Unit: Saboteur: an Elite petard

Unique Techs:

Castle Age tech- Smithereens: Petards can be trained from siege workshops

Imperial Age tech- Doomsday: All current military units converted to petards

Team Bonus: Petards +2 Line of sight
