I'm struggling to wall up on BF and not enjoying this game anymore

Played since I was 12 now 39

All though not played in years!!....

I'm a defensive player, rushing and winning fast bores me! I only play BF maps 1v1

Played a few years ago and just started last night.

I need to wall up at the start or it's game over for me, defence is how I win, eventually!

My fav civ is Koreans, played 6 matches and couldn't get the wall up! Dam! Startup cavalry gets my villagers building the block path wall everytime.

What other civ is defensive and can get the wall up fast?.... I liked chinese from trying another civ before as started with 5 villagers!, but no cannons or decent onagers

What tactic would you use to get the wall up more often than not?

Please don't criticise my play style :) I don't see the fun or skill to win a match in 2 minutes

Have Koreans been altered at all to me a lessor civ than before?... If not maybe its the gin!

I build wall them make archery first, so cheap archers can kill whatever approaches, then move on to cannons and Tower cannons.... Any play advice for better starting defence would be appreciated
