For me as a new player it is very hard to determine what technology I should research when or at all. I have the feeling that I am researching too many technologies and thus lack resources for other stuff. University and Monastry seem to have quite a few rather situational technologies... An example would be I am pimping out my militia lina with all upgrades available but then only have resources for 10 of them left, when I could have 30 of them without upgrades. Another example would be wheelbarrow and handcart. I always research them whenever they become available but I am not sure, if it wouldn't be better to keep queueing villagers instead? What are the most important technologies in general and at what time should i have them researched?
