I can't come back to the game

I used to play HD last year and my elo was 1900, now i wanna come back to the game but im obviously not as good as i used to be and because of my elo, under 1800 elo lobbies don't let me in, and i cant play as good as 1800+ players rn. and losing elo intentionally is a hassle. I think a feature should be added to the game that makes you lose elo over time so if you don't play for a while you can easily come back to the game
