Tales of Middle Earth, a Lord of the Rings mod for AoE2, is available to play

The mod isn't 100% finished yet, but it's made available to play now, you can find it here

Kotaku also made an article about it, so it's pretty cool that they already got some "mainstream" coverage.

The mod doesn't work with the HD version, so you'll have to patch it first, which can be done with AoE2Tools
