Hopefully a variant of no stupid questions might be allowed for this post.
The question: Relative to what we now experience on Voobly, will it still be more or less decent in Age 2 DE to play in a lobby with someone from Australia, someone from the UK, someone from Canada, someone from the US, someone from the Middle East, etc?
More context below:
Strictly speaking, we aren't 100% sure what the Age 2 DE multiplayer system will be like. And this is as far as I've gathered, which isn't much. So if you know more, please enlighten me. I'm sure I can't be the only one ignorant haha.
One thing I loved about transitioning to Voobly was how all of a sudden the Age experience became truly international for me. I now play with people from New Zealand and Australia, people from the American continent and so on.
Couldn't do that on HD.
But for a pleb like me, I've heard a comment or two about something called 'server-based'.
Does that mean that in the future if the competitive community were to migrate to DE, it would become harder for lobbies with people from all over the world to play out relatively decently?
In other words, what implications would this have getting those kind of lobbies with many international players going?
