I came back to AOE2 tonight since XBL is down and wanted a change of pace. I havent played online in... 3? months. regardless, not that long.
I just wanted to point some things out as our community continues to grow.

not everyone is a pro. not everyone is super hardcore about the game. opening the game up by calling someone a "colossal ultra mega ultra retard" because they took an arbitrary gold mine 47 tiles from your TH is probably not putting your best foot forward.

if you're playing on a speak and spell from a remote island in the pacific, stop spamming the chat that everyone else's connection sucks when in reality you're the reason we're all 600ms+

If you're keen on smurfing, you can eat the fattest bag of dicks. I'm a mid to high 1500s player. always have been, always will. played a 3v3 of a 1430, 1550 and me at 1590 vs a 1400, 1500 and a 1620. their 1400 single-handedly smoked us. he could have won the game 1v3 if he wanted. near perfect timestamps for everything. unbelievable micro. you're ruining the game for others. its not how you grow a community.
