Quick Game questions

Hey- I used to play age of mythology on a disk (non titans and titans) back in like 2010 when I was like 6 years old. Im recentely getting back into it and i love it so much but i have a few mechanical questions..

First how do I make lets say a scout go to one spot then another after that then another... Ill see youtubers do it and i remember i used to know how but ive tried everything and nothing works.... Like when you tell a scout to go to one spot maybe on the left side, then go to another spot right after that on the right side/???

If your confused by the frazeing im sorry idk how else to put it...
