How has the gate building bug not been fixed yet?

For those unaware, sometimes when building a gate the villagers will become stuck in the foundation. To remedy this, one has to move out of the build area and try again.
This is extremely annoying for building multiple gates as one has to constantly check whether they're being built or not. This also poses a problem for rushes.

It's been months for a very distinct bug. Please fix this.
