How to deal with knight+skirms as Turks?

So far iv seen im loosing a lot of games as Turks against trash units + knights. for example I go against franks and I decide to go Archer and cammel but he adds skirms and pikes to knights and I can't seem to find a good engagement. cammels were getting killed by the mass of skirms and knights where sniping Evey mangonel they could see,

they didn't care if they lost a knight or 2 since they can always default to trash and somehow still reach imp faster than me.

does anyone has any insight or advice on playing turks outside or arena? it seems that everytime I face any civ that isn't infantry focused I get destroyed.
