With a final record of 3/6/1 (win lose draw) I'm retiring from multiplayer

So I've owned a version of air 2 since release but never played the multiplayer because it never seemed interesting to me.

I recently tried to get into multiplayer because I wasn't getting a challenge out of the AI anymore and I've been watching a lot of SotL and I felt like I could try, but honestly playing online is just too tense for me. Sure I've won a couple games, and only one of them I was entirely carried, but I was terrified the whole time. What I didn't realize is that now that I was online I had actual people relying on me. I had always been dragged down by dumb ai partners, but now I could become the weight.

The other problem was that I never felt like I had enjoyed the game in the moment most of the time. I look back on most of the games and I'm just silently building and so are my teammates. Im not surprised a random match with a bunch of newer players would be like this, but I feel like without knowing the other players and having discord or something I won't have fun most of the time. The 2 games that actually went well and I helped win were the two with teams that talked and joked.

Either way I'll be heading back to the nice casual pit of turbo fast 2v2 ludacris black forest 500 population to relax.
