This may come up as a silly question, buy I really wanted to buy AoE II: DE on Steam. However, I'm still using Windows 8.1. And since upgrading my computer is (right now) impossible, I was wondering if buying the HD Edition would be worth it? I know that it's not supported anymore, it doesn't have balance updates, etc.
As someone who only played AoE III when I was a child and liked it, would it be a good investment?
