Comparison of Feudal and Post-Imperial age eco bonuses

Comparison of Feudal and Post-Imperial age eco bonuses

So I was bored and figured I'd like to find out exactly how good a Viking/Aztec/Khmer/Slav eco is, compared to the generic civs, and to each other. I created a scenario to test exactly that.

My main reason for this is checking out how much eco you can mass up while you age up to Castle. I have taken 18 Farmers, 10 lumberjacks over 2 lumber camps, and 8 gold miners.

I have assumed Double bit axe is already researched and hence triggered its forced research from the start.

The Castle age uptime is about 2:45 minutes so I checked the resources gathered in that time for these civs. At 2:45 min mark the villagers force drop the resources.

The results are kind of surprising:

For Feudal Age:

I was expecting Khmer to do much better than Vikings here. Also it is quite surprising that all these eco bonuses dont affect wood, gold and stone too much.

Now for Post imperial comparison:

It seems in Post imperial, with the research upgrades, generic civs can come close to being as efficient as Khmer, but Slavs still win by a large margin. This is because after Heavy plow and handcart, Farmers carry 21 food so the trips to drop it off are reduced by half, on top of 21% faster movement.

CONCLUSION:
