Can anybody consistently defeat the 5 man at arms in the Land Battle challenge without losing a unit? When I do this, it heavily depends on luck.
I simply don’t yet understand the principles involved that would allow someone to decisively beat this. Here’s my current understanding, maybe you can point out the error in my thinking:
- The easiest unit to use is archers
- Even with the hill bonus and hit-and-run tactics, your units will in take hits.
- You can pull one archer away to safety, but pulling two to safety is not viable.
- It logically follows that if the enemy targeting/pathing results in two of your units taking most of the inevitable hits, winning without losing a unit is not possible when it goes that way. Therefore, it’s fundamentally based on luck, and can’t be won every time.
I would love to master this, but I feel I’m at an impasse...
Thanks!
