I don´t want home city levels removed from singleplayer, anyone agrees?

As far as I know and have heard, the campaign will still have home city levels with which you unlock the cards and that´s great! I have however heard that multiplayer will have all cards unlocked from the starts without the need to level a home city up, thats great too!.

My question is, will the home city cards be unlocked like multiplayer in singleplayer (skirmishes) from the start, or do I get to level and unlock them myself? I really loved the leveling progression that the home city levels provided, and I will feel like something is missing, without it. Why play a skirmish game if I don´t have anything to look forward to after the game? That´s why I didn´t LOVE AOE 2.
