Some new(?) info from the newsletter: More than two teams and pre-built decks

I was looking at the latest insider post where they posted a wrap-up of the betas and it says:

“Online Experience: In a big upgrade from the original Age III, we have completely revamped the back end multiplayer system. We are now able to have more than two teams in multiplayer matches!”

Moreover, they seem to have updated the card system in so far as they added pre-built decks: “Not only did we adjust size and graphics for ease and readability, but we also added in pre-built decks that will have new players entering battle in just seconds”

I’ve never understand why there weren’t more than two teams in aoe 3, but I would hope a diplomacy system akin to aoe 2, where you can switch teams mid-game. What about you guys?
