What to do if enemy Eagle steals your sheep?

So I usually dont entcounter laming often, but today apparently juste every enemy wants to lame we.
So how do you defend against an eagle scout that steals your sheep? You cant fight him, if you manage to convert the sheep back, he can just kill them, if you dont convert them back he takes them home. How are you supposed to defend against this? Seems like a no win scenario.
