What are your tip and ideas (general and AoE2 DE specific) on how to improve in the ladder? I am currently around 1300 Eli and have been playing the game for several years but I have the time now to work the ladder intentionally. I have a few ideas (below) but want to know what has worked and hasn’t worked for you guys. All ELO opinions welcome, but especially interested in those higher than me.
My ideas: Play a lot of games intentionally Don’t rage! When you lose, analyze why you lay and rewatch if not sure. Practice build orders in single player. Watch and learn from pros! Hera, T90, and Niño are especially useful for teaching!
