Question about starting condition when creating lobby

Hi all, I've done multiple google searches for this but had no luck finding any answer. (maybe I'm just asking the wrong questions?)

My friends and I like to play private games in AoE 2 definitive edition. Sometimes when we start a map we have the nomad start, or we are built up with walls or farms.

Can you have a random map pool that only has the standard start? (a few villagers and a scout?) Some maps make it clear in their descriptions that they are unusual, but some such as Scandinavia start us with a large dark age economy and the map description does not indicate this. Do you just have to memorize which maps have these conditions?
