Best map for Native Allies

I have a question(s).

I want to do some single-player shenanigans involving hordes of native allies. Just, so damn many. Grabbing all the native villages and flooding the map with them. Going all in on the deck to create my native American hordes.

Which maps are best? I tried "Yellow River" and "Large Yellow River" because I was promised by the UI: "Lots and lots of Natives."

There were two (2) villages.

Is the number of players important? Is free-for-all vs team important? I just want my heterogenous native army.
