Did someone observe the same bug? aoe3 de

Hello, i bought the aoe3 de on launchday but couldn't play longer than 30min apiece due to it crashing to desktop. Back then i saw people commenting how they fixed that by hard capping the fps of the game via gpu settings. I wasn't capable of doing that so i returned the game. I wonder, did they fix that by now? It's hard to google that specific, so i wonder if someone here observed the same bug and knows if it got fixed!
