Improvement

Howdy.

I used to play AOE 2 a bunch when I was a kid, ive always enjoyed RTS games and from them other variant genres of strategy games. Recently, I have found myself replaying AOE 2 with some friends, now being older and slightly wiser I have come to enjoy the strategic side of it, both the economical and military aspects.

I like to think I have grasped early game and manage well late game in most scenarios, but I always seem to struggle mid-game, my resources production takes a hit nearly everytime.

Any tips or strategies I should try? Open to any and all possibilities.
