Hotkey Bug Issue, Please Help!

Hello, I posted about this on the forums with little response.

Since the newest patch, or since AoEIV came out, not sure which, my brother and I have had hotkey issues.

If I remember correctly, with the Definitive Hotkeys option selected, all commands should be in a "grid" layout, so if you have a villager selected, "q" then "q" will build a house. This is how my brother and I played for quite some time. It is now muscle memory.

However, now, when we are in game, the "definitive hotkeys" is not set up like this. Now "q" "e" builds a house. When we attempt to switch back to Definitive Hotkeys, it stays this way. We can switch to HD and Classic hotkeys, but we want to go back to the "grid" layout, but we can not seem to do so.

I have tried disabling all mods, unsubscribing from all mods, I then uninstalled and reinstalled, then I uninstalled and, I believe, deleted all the files, and still we can not get it to revert to the grid layout for Definitive Edition hotkeys. I am very confused, and do not now how to fix this. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
