Alt+F4 & Queue Dodging: Included in this update is an initial measure aimed at discouraging queue dodging. Players who Alt+F4 out of queues will receive progressive timeouts and their ability to rejoin the queue will be affected depending on the frequency with which they disconnect to work around the matchmaking system. This is being deployed for the first time in this Update and we’ll be monitoring activity and feedback to see where adjustments may be needed.

Says here they would monitor the impact and collect feedback, so im wondering if there has already been any comment from the devs on this?
In my experience this did nothing to improve the quality of teamgames (1vs1 is a different discussion, but honestly it wasnt needed there since you can usually ban all bad maps anyways).
The number of people leaving ingame (at 5 minutes instead of start now) seems to be much higher than before and basically anyone I talk to ingame dislikes the change, which seems like a pretty big difference to the bubble on this subreddit. Also I see a lot more games just ending abruptly in feudal/castle age when one player gets rushed by 1 or 2 enemines, and there seems to be a lot less willingness to continue playing if things arent going well, which would indicate people care less about maps they didnt want to play in the first place.
For reference: ~1500 teamgame elo, so around average.
