Streaming aoe II vs IV

Not sure if this has been discussed here. It’s a naive question but I keep wondering : Are those top streamers/pro-AOE II players streaming almost exclusively AOE IV because they are paid by Microsoft (or other media) to do stream AOE IV? Maybe they don’t disclose that info even if they were. Just curious and maybe that’s why someone like Viper stream AOE IV almost exclusively these days as if AoE II hasn’t existed? I could tell some streamers aren’t paid to stream aoe IV cuz they split their time on both games and that makes sense to me. If I were the AOE IV marketer I would be certainly tempted to pay those AOE2 pro-players big money to promote the game which will receive a massive return.

But from a customer point of view like myself, if someone is paid to stream a particular content it is not a fair market competition. There should be a policy to regulate this.
