So, "abusing" the recent patch talk, I want to share an idea of mine, how to buff Turks. First, I think Turks, like some other civs, are a victim of the power spike provided by the new civs. My hope would be that they get a similar treatment like Franks got, making them a viable option in various maps, besides Arena, where Turks already are pretty good.
Giving them ESkirms or Pikes would change their civ philosophy, so that's out of question.
I would give them a new bonus, giving their cavalery +15% movement speed, starting in Feudal Age, but also remove Husbandry.
Their scout rush, which Turks often go for, would greatly benefit from it, which also works well with their free scout upgrades.
And switching into CA would be easier aswell, giving Turks a legitimate alternative to a gunpowder strategy.
Turks have to play aggressive, because they are ridiculously depending on gold, and I think this buff would help them to apply pressure in the early game, which is currently a big weakness of the civ.
Thoughts?
