How good Elite Jaguar Warriors are against goths infantry in post-imp?

Yesterday in a random game I was the Aztecs and a teammate told me Elite Jaguar Warriors has a bonus against infantry (Because honestly I didn't know much this unit, I just learned something new)... so I've built 5 castles to spawn as many Elite Jaguar Warriors as possible against the opponent goths infantry... he initially made huskarl, but he stopped soon to replace them with halberdier and champion... but even if they have bonus, still I've seen my Elite Jaguar die like flies...
