How to get a game with good connectivity?

Me and my friends like to play long games, but we get timed out sometimes. It's really annoying, because we were about an hour and a half in this last time and we got timed out, despite no one getting disconnected from the internet. Our discord voice call was working just fine for everyone. We tried to save the game, but of course, that's so unreliable, and it didn't work, sadly.

Is there a better way to game on AoE II where there's a more stable connection? Voobly maybe?
