If we want to calculate the time dilation and the lorentz transformation equations then we take axiomatic that c=constant and perform the experiment in which the observer emits light to a mirror. So from the isosceles triangle we can calculate the equations.BUT what if we emit the light not perpendicular but on the same direction in which the train travels , then HOW DO WE CALCULATE THE EQUATIONS? Any thought?
