Why do the pros make Cav archers when playing as Magyars in Castle age?

In castle age they are just generic cav archers after all, since Recurve bow can only be researched in imperial age, and Magyars have no economic bonus either. In AoC people don't make them because it was too expensive and it needs too many upgrade, and only Huns can afford the cost. Apart from being cheaper in general in the expansion, there is no reason that Cav archers are more viable for Magyars than other civs. If Magyars can afford them, so does everyone, right?

My point is, if Cav archers are good in castle age for Magyars, does that mean they are also at least viable for Turks, Mongols, Saracens, Japanese or Indians who all get FU Cav archers (or even better) in imperial? Or are the pros just trying out in casual game and actually they won't make it in tournament settings?
