Barbarian 2.18

Back on AoE after XVI years. It all started around two months ago when casually watched a game of someone called Tatoh. Felt nostalgia that turned into curiosity about the new civilizations, features and gaming platforms.

I started playing on Voobly NPL but after the rush changed my mind and did decide to focus on decent training, having a lot of new tutorials out there to check out... now I really know who that Tatitoh guy is; as well other great gamers or casters. Glorious NAC. Amazing Community.

I do train against Barbarian 2.18 released on May 19th 2018 - winning on Moderate, loosing 9 of 10 games on Hard.

I've read that this 2.18 version is still stronger than the previous one. If true, what is its level in comparison with Voobly rankings? Does Barbarian cheat on Hardest level? When should I consider jumping with safety into Medieval Siege? it seemed to me that the NPL wasn't the best place to improve.
