How to win noobish BF 4v4 games alone?

Hello, I enjoy BF because I prefer post-imp wars to rushing.

I only play BF 4v4 or 3v3 on voobly. So far: 17 wins, 26 loses.

The annoying thing I face is that sometime I find an even noobish flank/pocket than me so I'm left to fight against 2-3 other player all alone, usually with the same eco score of mine. And I always lose.

I tought there wasn't a way and I should deal with it... but today in a game a teammate was able to win all by its own. He basically told me what to do, how and when and then he lead us to victory after both our flanks was out of the game and my army was destroyed and I was going to concede the game as well. That was impressive and let me understand there must be a way to win alone against 4... I want to be like that guy, every suggestion is appreciated
