Lag but worse?

So this morning I played a game and everything went smoothly. 12 hour later, I log on to voobly, join a game, and everything's fine. The game opens up and I join the game room (not the voobly lobby but the room inside the actual game). My mouse is moving fine....until I click on something.

When I click on something, it feels as if everything completely freezes up. For example, if I change my player color or team number and click the corresponding button, it takes about 10-15 seconds for anything to happen. This isn't 10-15 lag type of thing, it literally freezes for those 10-15 seconds.

When the game opens up, I can't do ANYTHING. Everything completely freezes after the first second. I have to force quit the game everytime.

I've been struggling with this issue for about an hour now and any help would be greatly appreciated. I doubt there are problems with my Wi-Fi or internet - everything runs smoothly before the game opens (even voobly lobby is fine).

Has anyone else ever had this problem/doesn't know what to do? I've already shut down my computer and restarted it to no avail.
