Limiting your time spent playing the game

I am sure I am not the the first one who has been approaching this point: I am devoting an inordinate amount of time playing this game. It has gotten to the point where I fear that my devotion to this game has become detrimental to other facets of my life. It started out this February, when I finished my 12th board exams and decided to occupy the time till the start of college by trying to climb the Voobly ladder. Now after roughly 4 months, I am spending more than 40 hours a week playing the game and another considerable amount just watching streams and old recordings. Does anyone ave anyone experience with trying to limit their obsession with the game? I am trying to drop the amount of hours spent involving myself with the game per week to perhaps 4-5, what challenges do you think I’ll face? And how do I tackle those challenges?
