So this is something that has bothered me for a while in Age of Empires 3. They put a lot of effort in some of the languages in the game but not so much in other, one glaring issue being the Dutch feedback for move commands.
When you tell a Dutch unit to move somewhere they can say one of a number of things such as "Ik ga", "Juist" and... "OK". Why do they say "OK"!? I looked up the origins of Ok in a dictionary and it comes from Boston and has nothing to do with the Netherlands or the dutch language.
What confuses me the most is that they could've easily made the units say something else, like "Op weg", which translates to "On my way", something certain units already say. I'm just... trying to think of a reason why they would've went with "OK" instead...
(Oh, by the way, I'm a Dutch speaker).
