I am not a very good player so I dont play multiplayer mode much, I played singleplayer 1vs1 against Franks in Arabia as the Huns. The AI was hard mode.
I tried to fast castle and by the time 25:00 I had about 10-12 horse archers with thumb ring upgrade and 2 upgrades of blacksmith regarding archers/horse archers too. I picked up couple of enemy villagers but the Frankish ai just rushes with its trash army and I cant stop it with horse archers. Because I cant micro against skirmishers and archers. For archers I have at least light cav but against skirmishers and spearmen accompanying them it becomes impossible so I lose my army. And light cavalry isnt sth good neither, recruiting it hinders my own advancement or villager recruiting.
Even if I ignore the enemy army and keep on picking up his villagers I cant accomplish much, ai also recruits some cavalry, knight etc.
Problem is that ai has the advantage of starting an army in feudal age, I have to wait until castle age and this combined with horse archers being harder to recruit despite the Hunnic bonus well I die every time.
