Why garrison healing is bad and monk healing not exciting (and why that's fine)

Garrison healing is bad, because it doesn't do much.

At .1 hp per second, an starting villager can restore 6 hp a minute instead of working for 20 resources per minute. with 25 hp and 50 food cost, that's adding effectively 12 food worth of meat points per second.

And that ratio of health to cost is only low for starting villagers, and starting monks, and starting monks can heal each other much faster.

This is fine, because the bonus arrows of garrisoned villagers are really good in the early game. (effectively they act as fully upgraded generic fuedal archers in towers/castles/tcs.)
