Bulgarians vs Teutons late game match up

Recently played as the Bulgarians vs Teutons and the game went to late imp. What do you think of the match up in general and what are the best chances for Bulgarians to take the win? What are the possible viable late game army comps for Bulgarians?

In my match the Teuton player went for fully upgraded Paladin and Halbs + Trebs. While I went for a mix of FU two handed swordsman, Halbs, Hussars and trebs. It was a stalemate until I ran out of gold and couldn’t stop the Paladin spam anymore. It was RM aftermath and there was a lot of gold on the map, the opponent had more map control.
