how to pocket in a 3v3?

in a 4v4 I know I should help my neighbour flank, but what if I'm pocket in a 3v3?

Should I split my army to help both? Should I just focus to help the flank with the lowest score?

In a situation where I focus to help one player but then at a certain point the opposite flank is struggling, should I go to help him or not, taking a lot of idle time?
