I finally won my first random game!

I got aoe2 last week and started playing it for the first time. After a few matches to learn the ropes, I finally figured out a decent balance of resources and troops. There's certainly a learning curve to this game and I have a lot to learn still, but it feels good to finally win. I've loved the game so far! The community seems really active and helpful too, and I look forward to playing with some of you online when I feel ready for it!
