I’ve been trying to save some energy lately, so rather than running the AC at night, I’ve been trying to open windows and use a box fan blowing hot air out an open window (all windows open). I always do this in such a way as to work with any wind in the area.
That said, while I know mapping the house windows/size/orientation, etc would be complex, I was hoping to get an idea of any formulas I could use to estimate the time to cool based on factors such as internal temp, external temp, wind speed/direction, fan cfm/orientation, size of house, etc.
If there’s existing things I missed in my google searches, I’m happy to check out links I missed.
Thanks!
