Hello, im kinda having a issue at the moment with Aoe 2 HD, i refuse to play online with everyone else because everyone is much better at the game (tbh i have been playing this and a few other RTS's for the longest time and im still garbage at the genre) and theres no learning curve. i have tried looking up stats online etc on how i can improve but i dont really see much for me to help myself with.
i have been playing the game with a friend against bots, usually we do 2v2 or 3v3 (1 bot on our team) Both original Bots and the new bots on standard are literally a cake walk, theres no challenge and im not doing anything new to win, moderate difficulty on both bots is where the challenge suddenly takes a large turn, We both cannot defeat both bots on moderate and im not sure what todo to be honest, Hes a little better of a player than me, he'll murder me with the highest archer you can get up to.
from what i notice, the original Ai is much better scripted, the new ai does not even walk in armys, its just a single laggy line that they keep coming from and they build buildings EVERYWHERE.
any help fellas? somewhere i can be pointed to.
